Zwischentöne
A temporary installation by Clara Twele and Galina Kolchina at the intersection of design, art and architecture, brought together through an atmospheric soundscape.
Zwischenräume moves between the visible and the fleeting, between inside and outside, between matter, sound and imagination. The installation understands space not as a fixed state, but as something that shifts with the gaze, the light and one’s movement through it.
One moves through colour, material, light and shadow. With every step, distance and perception shift; surfaces emerge and recede. A soundscape accompanies this movement, making the space perceptible beyond the visible.
Foreground and background begin to lose their distinction, while inside and outside start to overlap. A space in transition emerges – open to perception, imagination and to what will eventually find its place within these rooms.
